Who are we?

Foundation 1 (FD1) is a faith-driven, community-focused charity founded in South Australia in 2019. Guided by Christian values, we are a family of volunteers dedicated to bringing hope, wellness, and support to those in need. Our mission is to strengthen communities through compassion, service, and faith.

We strive to live by Micah 6:8

What do we do?

Foundation 1 operates Op Shops offering affordable clothing and household items, as well as Community Pantries providing essential food supplies. Our services extend to community support, chaplaincy, pastoral care, and emergency and disaster relief.

As a Christian faith-based organisation independent of any denomination or church, FD1 is committed to ensuring funds raised are reinvested into local communities or allocated to agreed projects. While our roots are in South Australia, our outreach spans across Australia, Kenya, India, Vanuatu, and Fiji, supporting communities both locally and globally.
